Seven Days To Go!

There’s only 1 week to go before we launch our 5th Migration Festival. This year the programme includes the main Saturday evening talk by Prof Ian Newton OBE talking about Bird Migration together with Yoav Perlman and Andy Clements sharing their birding experiences around the world throughout the weekend. We’re also running the annual ‘Martin Garner Award for Spurn Young Birder of the Year’ competition where Andy Clements of the BTO and Ian Newton OBE will present the winner with a fantastic prize. This along with the regular migrant walks and ringing demonstrations should make it THE birding event of the year. Also Rare Bird Alert are once again offering the first 100 bookings the chance to loan a pager for the day and keep up to speed on what’s been seen throughout the weekend.

The Chairman of the Migration Festival - Rob Adams - was at Spurn yesterday checking that everything is on track and recorded this message for everyone: Message From Rob Adams

It’s still not to late too get your tickets for this years event - don’t miss out!
