You spoke - we listened!
Towards the end of last year, a request for feedback on the 2017 Spurn Migration Festival was sent out to many of the attendees - thanks to all of you who took the time to respond. While a lot of what we are doing was favourably received, there were things you felt we could improve on. So, even though we are still in the early stages of planning this years festival, here are 3 things that you felt could be improved on that we are taking action on:
- Extra Seating in the catering area - we are adding additional chairs and tables in another area of the barn to help alleviate the seating pressure
- More Explanation and Mentoring at the Sea-watching sessions - increased explanation of sea-watching an the terms used to help people get a better experience and understand more
- More females giving talks and leading walks - there we a few comments that the walks & talks were male dominated with no ladies involved - this will change for 2018!
We hope these changes will enhance your enjoyment of this years festival. Please check back here regularly to see what else we plan to bring you at this years festival
