One Week To Go
It’s just seven days to go now until the 2018 Spurn Migration Festival kicks off.
This week has seen some great bird movements and a trickle of scarce migrants starting to come through and with easterly winds forecast for the MigFest weekend, it’s looking good for a bumper weekend! Highlights of the last few days include up to 10,700 Common Terns moving past the seawatching hut in the evenings, 3 Icterine Warblers, Woodchat Shrike, the first Barred warblers of the autumn and this morning, a Citrine Wagtail. If this wasn’t enough, there have been good numbers of common migrants passing through too.
It’s still not too late to get your tickets - don’t delay, you could miss some great birds!
